WINTER 1862

I want to include sections on the Flower of the Month, starting with January. (I’ve been meaning to do this, but, I got carried away with all the wonderful wreaths.)

So, better late than never…the flowers for January are

The Carnation and the Snowdrop.

Carnation

Carnations have a number of meanings, based on their colors.

Pink Carnations love and appreciation

White Carnations luck, love, and affection

Red Carnations love and friendship.

Snowdrops symbolize hope and rebirth.
